Varidigm's variable speed motor controllers provide energy savings, quiet operation, and expanded control range to fan coil units, fan-powered VAV boxes, fan filter units, and other HVAC applications. Our controllers are low-cost components, capable of driving standard PSC-type AC motors. The controllers offer a significant cost advantage when compared to inverter type variable speed solutions.
The VSM-CP controller provides variable speed control to single speed or multi-tap Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motors in response to built-in pressure feedback. An analog input or potentiometer provides a pressure setpoint signal while a pressure sensor provides pressure feedback to the controller. Does your Fan Filter Unit or VAV Box have variable speed motor control with ACTUAL pressure feedback and CONSTANT CFM using a PSC motor? No. Then check out our controller.
The VSM-CA controller provides variable speed output to single speed or multi-tap Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motors in response to an analog signal or remote potentiometer.
The VSM-M motors are fractional horsepower motors specially built for an extended speed range. When driven by VSM-CA3 or -CP3 controllers, these motors increase the energy savings, further reduce the sound level, and increased turndown.
